“I still go on my mat, and hear JP’s soft instructions in my ears, and still it calms me and centers me back to who I am.”

I was new in Toronto, recently divorced and very lonely, Ahimsa became my home. Those bi-weekly rituals of going there to unpack my distress and get JP’s abundance of kindness, and healing presence was my anchor for so many years. I knew if the world is in chaos and messy, JP is there to invite me to calm, presence and always joy. I experienced full joy and a deep kindness in Ahimsa home. It was truly my second home. After my yoga teacher’s training, finally I got hooked on a self-care ritual that I never thought I could find the discipline for. After 13 years from my teacher’s training, one thing that still is my anchor is the gift that JP has given me; my morning practice.

Especially now in my life that I have not lived in Toronto for past 3 years, and at this moment living in Tehran with all the turmoil that is going on, I still go on my mat, and hear JP’s soft instructions in my ears and still it calms me and centers me back to who I am.

I am grateful beyond words.

Love you JP, Thank YOU.
